Enhancv and Joblumi cover a lot of the same ground: a CV builder, a check against job ads, cover letters and a place to track your applications. Where they part ways is time. Enhancv's free plan is valid for 7 days, and its Pro plans renew at the start of each billing period. Joblumi's free plan has no time limit, and its pass runs for 30 or 90 days and then ends by itself.

Where the features overlap
Tailoring to a job ad. Enhancv's German site describes it like this: you pick one of your CVs, paste the job ad and choose the three to five qualifications closest to the job. Enhancv rewrites the CV and marks each change, which you accept or not. Joblumi's version for each job works from the job ad too: it builds a separate CV version for that job and runs a language check. The free plan includes one; with a pass there is no fixed number.
Checking the CV. Enhancv's ATS check is part of Pro. Joblumi's (G)ATS Score, with every finding and the fix for it, is on the free plan.
Tracking applications. Enhancv's FAQ describes an AI Job Application Tracker: a visual dashboard with reminders, job details filled in for you, and a tailored CV attached to each application. Joblumi's board, with a pass, has stages for each application and reminders.
Interview preparation. Enhancv's German site lists interview help among its tools. Joblumi has a Mock Interview Trainer and an Assessment Trainer for online tests, both with a pass.
Translation. Enhancv's German site says you can translate your CV into more than 30 languages and keep the formatting. Joblumi translates between German and English only, with a pass.
The German CV on both sides
Enhancv's German templates page offers tabular templates and says two pages are common in Germany for people with a lot of experience. All templates come in A4. On a photo, the same page says an employer may not demand one, and that a photo is common in most European countries.
Joblumi starts from the same tabular format and adds the details a German reader checks:
- dates as MM/YYYY throughout;
- language levels on the European scale (A1 to C2, GER in German), not words like "fluent";
- an optional photo field, so you decide;
- a cover letter laid out as a German business letter under DIN 5008: sender block, date line, subject line, formal greeting.

Prices as shown on 31 Oct 2026. Enhancv's plans continue after the period unless you cancel before the next billing date. Joblumi's passes end by themselves; a second pass adds its days to the first.
Refunds when your search ends early
Finding a job sooner than planned is good news, but it changes what you pay for.
Enhancv's terms say monthly fees are not refunded if you used the service in that billing period. Quarterly and half-year fees can get a partial refund for the unused time. To stop the plan, you cancel on the Billing page before the next billing date, and you get a confirmation email. The terms add that Enhancv can't always respond to cancellation requests by email (terms, retrieved 31 Oct 2026).
With Joblumi there is nothing to cancel. A pass you no longer need runs out on its last day. Within 14 days of buying, you can ask for a voluntary full refund, once per account and payment method.
Where your data is stored
Enhancv's privacy policy says its servers are in the United States and names AWS, Heroku and MongoDB Atlas as providers. Joblumi stores account data in the EU in a Cloudflare database. Joblumi's AI features run through Anthropic in the USA, and your data is not used to train AI models.
When Enhancv is the better choice
- You want translation of your CV into many languages.
- You want to edit layout in detail: fonts, backgrounds, margins and column width.
- You are an experienced professional or manager; Enhancv's German site says it is made for this group.
- You want a half-year plan and a partial refund if you stop early.
When Joblumi is the better choice
- You want a free plan without a time limit, including the (G)ATS Score with all fixes and a cover letter.
- You apply in Germany and want the German rules for CV and cover letter explained in English.
- You want a Word download (with a pass).
