Follow employers: a job alert for the companies you want

Pick the companies you want to work for. Joblumi checks their job list once a day and tells you when a new role comes up, with a filter for jobs in English.

How it works

  1. Add a company. Type its name or paste the link to its careers page. You can also follow a company from a job on your board, from a company briefing or from a job ad you analysed.
  2. Set a filter if you want. Words in the job title, cities, remote, and “only jobs in English”, which is on by default.
  3. See what is open now. The first check shows how many roles the company has open, and how many are in English. These don’t count as new.
  4. Get a job alert. Joblumi checks each company once a day. When a new role matches your filter, you see it in the app and, if you want, in one email a day or once a week. Never more than one email a day, and no email without a new job.
  5. Add it to your board. With “Add to board”, the job lands on your board with a link to the company’s own job ad, ready for a CV version and a cover letter.

Which companies Joblumi can check

Many companies publish their jobs through an applicant tracking system that offers a public job feed for exactly this purpose. Joblumi can check companies whose careers page runs on Greenhouse, Lever, Personio, SmartRecruiters or Ashby.

Other companies don’t offer a public feed. For them, Joblumi doesn’t fetch anything. If you want, turn on a weekly reminder with the link to their careers page, so you don’t forget to look. It is off by default, and you can stop it in every email. We don’t promise that every company can be checked automatically.

Joblumi never checks job portals such as LinkedIn or Indeed, and it never reads single job ads on a schedule. How our fetcher works, and how companies can opt out, is on joblumi.com/bot.

Why follow employers instead of searching every day

Most job boards send alerts for keywords. If you already know where you want to work, a keyword alert sends you many jobs you don’t want and can still miss the one you do. Following the company itself means you hear about every new role there, and only there.

It also saves time on the most repetitive part of a job search: opening the same careers pages again and again. Use that time for the application instead: a CV version for the job and a cover letter for Germany.

Your data

We store which companies you follow in your account and use this list only for your alerts. We never tell a company that you follow it. To check for new jobs, we fetch each company’s public job list once a day, without any data about you. You can unfollow a company or stop the emails at any time. Details are in our privacy policy.

Questions people ask

What is a job alert?

A message that tells you when a new job is posted. Joblumi’s job alert is for the companies you choose, not for keywords across all employers.

How fast will I hear about a new job?

Joblumi checks each company once a day, at night. You see new roles the next morning in the app and, if you turned on daily emails, in your 8 a.m. email.

Can I get alerts only for jobs in English?

Yes. “Only jobs in English” is on by default. You can turn it off for each company, and add keywords, cities or remote.

Does the company know that I follow it?

No. We never tell a company who follows it.

What if Joblumi can’t check a company?

Then you can turn on a weekly reminder with the link to its careers page instead. It is off by default. Joblumi doesn’t fetch anything from that company.
