In short
- 14-day money-back promise (voluntary): not happy with your pass? You get the full price back within 14 days. We do not deduct the days you have used. One refund per account and per payment method.
- How: “Withdraw from contract here” on the page “Pass” in your account or in the footer of every page, then “Confirm withdrawal”.
- Your statutory right of withdrawal applies in addition, not instead. It has no such limit. Under the statutory right alone you would pay for the days already used. Details below.

Our money-back promise
This is a voluntary promise from us. It goes further than the statutory right of withdrawal, because we refund the full price.
- Period: until the end of the 14th day after the day you bought the pass. This is the same period as the statutory withdrawal period.
- What you get: the full price of the pass, to the payment method you used. Depending on your bank, the money can take a few working days to show on your account.
- What happens to your pass: it ends at once. Everything you created stays in your account. You continue on the free plan.
- Limit: one refund per account and one refund per payment method. If your account or your payment method has already received a refund under this promise, the promise no longer applies. This limit applies only to the promise, never to your statutory right of withdrawal.
- Who: consumers and business customers.

You always get the better result. You use the same button for the promise and for the statutory right. We check automatically which one applies. If the promise applies, you get the full price. If it does not, you get the refund under the statutory right of withdrawal (see “If the money-back promise does not apply” below).
Withdrawal information
(This is the statutory information on your right of withdrawal as a consumer. It applies independently of our money-back promise. It follows the statutory model: Annex I(A) of Directive 2011/83/EU in its English version, and Annex 1 to Art. 246a § 1(2) EGBGB.)
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Nick Schäfer, Joblumi, An der Mannsfaust 9, 60599 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, email: hello@joblumi.com, contact form: joblumi.com/contact) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at joblumi.com/app/pass or via “Withdraw from contract here” in the footer of our website. If you use this online function, we will send you without delay, on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail), an acknowledgement of receipt with information on the content of your withdrawal statement and the date and time of its receipt.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
End of the withdrawal information.
If the money-back promise does not apply
This section matters only if the money-back promise does not apply to you, for example because your account or payment method has already received a refund under the promise. Then your statutory right of withdrawal applies, and you pay for the days already used. The pass gives you access for a fixed number of days, so we count the days you have used.
- Days used = the started 24-hour periods from the start of your pass until we receive your withdrawal.
- Refund = price × (days of the pass − days used) ÷ days of the pass. We round up to the full cent in your favour.
Examples under the statutory right (without the money-back promise):

You pay for used days only because you asked for your pass to start at once and confirmed this before buying (the box “Start my pass now” on the pass page). A pass that has not started yet, for example a second pass that would start after your current one ends, is refunded in full.
We refund through Link, our payment reseller, to the payment method you used. Depending on your bank, the money can take a few working days to show on your account.
When the right of withdrawal ends early
If you asked for your pass to start at once and confirmed that you know this, your right of withdrawal ends once the pass has been fully provided, that is when it has run its full term (§ 356(4) BGB). In practice the 14-day period ends first.
Withdrawal through Link
Passes are sold through Link (Sold Through Link, LLC, a Stripe company) as reseller. You can also send your withdrawal to Link support (support.link.com). We treat it the same as a withdrawal sent to us. You do not need to do both.
The “Withdraw from contract here” button
This button is both: the online withdrawal function under § 356a BGB and the way to use our money-back promise.
Where you find it
- In the app on the page “Pass” (joblumi.com/app/pass), as long as you can withdraw. It is shown on the pass card, not hidden in a menu.
- In the footer of every page of joblumi.com. It leads to a short form that also works if you are not signed in.
- In your purchase confirmation email.
How it works
- Click “Withdraw from contract here”.
- Check or enter three things: your name, the pass you want to withdraw from (we show type and purchase date), and the email address for your confirmation. We ask nothing else, and you do not have to give a reason. We show you the amount you get back: the full price under the money-back promise, or the amount under the statutory right if the promise does not apply.
- Click “Confirm withdrawal”. This sends your withdrawal to us.
What happens next
- We send you an email at once with the content of your withdrawal and the date and time we received it.
- Your pass ends at once. The refund is started automatically. The email shows the amount and whether the money-back promise or the statutory right applied.
- Everything you created stays in your account. You continue on the free plan.
- If you are not signed in, we match your withdrawal to your pass using your email address and purchase details. If we cannot find the pass, we write to you. Your withdrawal is still on time if you sent it within the 14 days.
Cancelling is something else
Withdrawal undoes the contract within 14 days. A pass also ends by itself after 30 or 90 days. If you want to end the contract for good cause at another time, use “Cancel contracts here” in the footer. Details in our Terms, section 12.
Business customers
The statutory right of withdrawal applies only to consumers (§ 13 BGB). Our money-back promise applies to business customers too, with the same limit. Use the same button.
Language versions
This page exists in English and German (Geld zurück und Widerruf). If the versions differ, the version in the language in which you bought the pass applies: German if the app was set to German when you bought, otherwise English.
